Power House Sober Living is dedicated to providing safe and supportive housing for individuals recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. We understand the journey to lasting recovery is complex. We are pleased to offer a stable environment where guests heal, grow, and rebuild their lives.

One of the key pillars of Power House is its incredible power of community. Recovery can often feel isolating, but when living alongside others who understand and relate to sobriety struggles, a deep sense of belonging and shared experience is fostered. Our carefully selected guests form a tight-knit fellowship where mutual support, encouragement, and accountability are central to their healing process. The relationships built at Power House help everyone feel less alone and more connected, which is essential for ongoing recovery.

Another pillar of Power House is personal accountability. Guests must work or attend school while staying at Power House. Room checks and chores are done daily. Random drug and alcohol tests are administered each week. We also require attendance at three recovery meetings per week, in addition to a weekly house meeting. House meetings foster transparency and encourage individuals to share their progress, challenges, and goals in a ‘family’ setting. By committing to a structured schedule, our guests learn responsibility, consistency, and discipline—crucial skills that will serve them long after their stay.

While living at Power House, guests are guided through seven key areas of personal development by a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Those personal development areas are:

  1. Sobriety Coaching and Support
  2. Family Reconciliation and Reintegration
  3. Financial Literacy, Credit Restoration, and Personal Finance Management
  4. Productivity and Time Optimization
  5. Accountability of One’s Health and Wellbeing
  6. Professional Growth and Career Advancement
  7. Criminal Justice System Navigation and Rehabilitation Completion

We believe that recovery is not just about staying clean and sober; it’s about building a foundation for a better life. Each guest is encouraged to focus on these areas of personal growth to help them regain stability, independence, and integrity.

Lastly, Power House guests are encouraged to take responsibility through peer mentorship. Longer-term guests are assigned to mentor newer guests, providing a unique opportunity for mutual reinforcement and accountability as they navigate their personal recovery journeys together.
